APPOINTMENTS

All appointments for The Sports Therapy Lodge are booked online using this website for all treatments including; Sports Massage, Injury Assessment and Treatment, Postural Assessment and Correction and Online Rehabilitation Programmes.

After booking, you you will receive a confirmation email including all of the details about your booking. If you have booked more than 24 hours in advance, you will also receive a reminder email and text message 24 hours before your appointment.

If this is your first appointment at The Sports Therapy Lodge, you will receive a New Client Consultation Form before your appointment. Please take a few moments to complete this information before you attend. The client understands that if they give the wrong information on the Client Consultation Form, The Sports Therapy Lodge will not be liable for any issues due to undisclosed details from the client. Clients must inform The Sports Therapy Lodge if anything changes to their personal information or medical history before their appointment. Failure to do so may result in certain treatments not being suitable for you and The Sports Therapy Lodge will not be liable in this instance.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that once you have booked an appointment with The Sports Therapy Lodge, it means that the relative time slot in the schedule has been booked exclusively for you. If you would like to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. Failure to attend an appointment with less than 72 hours’ notice of cancellation will incur the full cost of your appointment without refund. You automatically agree to these charges as soon as you confirm your booking.

If you have purchased a gift voucher, please note that once your gifted person has booked their appointment with The Sports Therapy Lodge, it means that the relative time slot in the schedule has been booked exclusively for them. If they would like to cancel/amend their booking, please ensure they provide The Sports Therapy Lodge with 72 hours notice if they wish to do so. If 72 hours notice is not provided, we will be unable to cancel/amend the booking and payment for the Gift Voucher will not be refunded. This also means that and your gift voucher will be invalid.

LATE ARRIVAL

It is important that you attend your appointment on time and the duration of your treatment is adhered to. We do understand that on occasion something may happen and you may arrive a little later or have to leave earlier than originally planned. We understand that unexpected eventualities can sometimes happen, but in these instances we are not liable for the lost time and are unable to make up any missed time by over-running or adding any lost time to future appointments. You will also not receive a refund for the lost time.

If you are delayed for your appointment, please let The Sports Therapy Lodge know at your earliest convenience, if no contact is made you will be considered a no-show after 30 minutes. If you arrive late, the only time available for the treatment is the time remaining. It is not possible for The Sports Therapy Lodge to over-run your agreed appointment time due to other clients that may be waiting.

INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR

If any client of The Sports Therapy Lodge is deemed to be using inappropriate behaviour in any form towards any staff situated at either location, they will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be given. This applies to any behaviour where a member of staff should feel uncomfortable, upset or intimidated. Please respect all members of staff working at both locations of The Sports Therapy Lodge as bullying in any form will not be tolerated.

Any clients that have been asked to leave will not be allowed to make any future bookings with The Sports Therapy Lodge. If they choose to do so, whether it be using another name or having another person try to book an appointment for them will be asked to leave upon arrival of that booking and no refund will be issued for the unfulfilled appointment.

CONFIDENTIALITY

All client information and clinical records will be safeguarded by The Sports Therapy Lodge and will remain confidential. We will not share, sell or distribute any of the information you provide to us without your consent unless where required to do so by law.

Consultations and client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian and only workers of The Sports Therapy Lodge will be able to have access to these files.

So that we may prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we make full use of security measures to protect your information from access by persons who are not authorised to see them and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We also have in place suitable procedures to safeguard and secure your personal data which we have collected online. We shall retain your personal data only for a reasonable period of time, this can be up to 7 years or as the law requires.

TREATMENT T&Cs

i). Clients booking all treatments confirm that The Sports Therapy Lodge and the Therapist completing the treatment will not be responsible or liable if the result of the service is not as expected as it should be.

ii). The Sports Therapy Lodge has licensed professionals completing treatments. The client understands that a patch test for any oils used during the treatment will be administered at the start of the session and consents to this.

iii). The client understands that the application of these oils may vary from one person to another and in some instances may incur some irritation to the skin.

HEALTH & SAFETY

All Therapists at The Sports Therapy Lodge are fully qualified and hold a valid insurance to complete all treatments.

The Sports Therapy Lodge retains the right to refuse treatment or stop treatment during the session if a client is either verbally or physically abusive to the Therapist or any members of staff in the location. This will result in a ban from any future appointments.

It is the duty of the client to provide any details in relation to medication, symptoms or treatments from other health practitioners. If any of these change before their appointment they must inform The Sports Therapy Lodge beforehand.

DISCLAIMER

The Sports Therapy Lodge reserves the right to terminate any appointment at any point if they believe that it is not safe or in the client’s best interest to continue further. Equally, the client has the right to refuse, modify or terminate their treatment at any point, regardless of prior consent given.

It is the clients responsibility for any personal belongings they may bring to their appointment. The Sports Therapy Lodge is not responsible for any damaged or lost person items during or after the treatment.

INSTAGRAM COMPETITIONS & GIVEAWAYS

​

Competitions will be hosted on @TheSportsTherapyLodge Instagram account only. Winners will be chosen at random by the Easy Giveaway app. The prize can be transferred by the winner to a friend or family member to take their place.

​

Winners are to claim their prizes within a month of the closing date. The winners names will be announced and all winners will be informed by Instagram on the closing date, and must respond within 28 days to claim their prize.

​

Copyright to the entries will remain with the entrant but the entrant licences the entrees to use their photographs to promote the brand across websites and social media.
